Top Car Related Events in the Kentucky Region
Are you searching for a fun way to spend your weekend that involves cars and is Louisville-based? You are in luck because our team at Turning Wrenches keeps a watch on the top car related events in the Kentucky. Just as we stay abreast of cutting-edge technology, we aim to stay up to date with what is happening in our community. Louisville auto enthusiasts have a wide variety of events to choose from in the 2018 season, and while many are still in the planning stages, you might want to mark your calendar for some of these 2018 events:
Louisville Auto Show: This year’s show features exotic cars and test drive opportunities to qualified drivers.
Ponies In The Smokies 2018 Car Show: This year’s event in Sevierville, TN, promises to be even bigger and better. Special events are currently in the works as well.
7th Annual Cinco De Mopar Car Show: Indiana’s most significant ALL MOPAR car show is calling for entries. The show benefits the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the American Cancer Society. Competition is open only to Classic and Modern MOPAR vehicles, including Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth, Jeep, Ram, SRT, Imperial AMC, Desoto, Eagle, Fiat and Alfa Romeo.
49th Annual Street Rod Nationals: With lots of entries and plenty of competition. This year’s top prize 2018 NSRA Giveaway Car is now under custom construction for that lucky winner.
MIM 1-LAP of Kentucky: Back by popular demand, the 9th annual KY 1 Lap tour, will be offered three different weeks in October. The event is a collaboration between the National Corvette Museum and the Kentucky State Police. Each year, the tour explores a separate section of Kentucky led by a Kentucky State Trooper in a marked red Corvette, which is sure to attract attention. The proceeds from the event support both the museum and Trooper Island, a KSP non-profit camp for underprivileged children.
National Corvette Museum: This museum showcases the Corvette, which has been in production since 1953. If you are a fan of this car, we recommend checking out this museum. It is located in Bowling Green.
